Senior Account Executive

This full-time Client Services position is located in our Dallas office and responsible for the execution of day-to-day account activities to ensure client expectations are met. A keen student of direct marketing techniques, the Senior Account Executive demonstrates a passion for the business. This position has daily client involvement in person, or via email, phone, and occasional travel. Reports to the Vice President of Client Services in Seattle, Washington.

This position is for someone who has worked in a client or project management role for five plus years and is ready to take the next step in career advancement. This position entails normal office hours, with frequent overtime as necessary and may include occasional travel. Innovyx is a corporate office environment.

Some of the responsibilities of the Senior Account Executive role are:

• Understands contractual requirements that affect account activities and communicates project information to appropriate department/team members
• Demonstrates knowledge of marketing principles and accumulated learning with respect to individual projects
• Responsible for interpreting client needs into actionable internal direction
• Effectively supervises, mentors and ensures development of Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives through coaching and passing on best practices.
• Reviews results at the end of each campaign and discusses findings with Account Supervisor in order to present conclusions to client for quarterly and/or project-specific updates
• Monitors competitors and market place and has comprehensive understanding of client’s business
• Supports new business pitches as required

Candidate for position must have the following capabilities:

• Four-year degree required
• 5+ years of client/project management experience
• 2-3 years E-mail Marketing or related experience
• Agency background preferred
• Must possess good communication, planning, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Team leader with ability to motivate staff, peers and clients
