Rapp Collins Worldwide Centralizes Operations in North America To Fortify One-Agency Approach

New structure and five senior executive promotions designed to enhance processes and client service across all agency offices

NEW YORK, July 13, 2004 — Rapp Collins Worldwide, one of the world's leading direct marketing services agencies and part of Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE-OMC), today unveiled a new agency structure and announced five executive management promotions, all designed to centralize and optimize operations across all offices in North America.

The new centralized structure dissolves all walls within the agency, enabling RCW to leverage nationwide best practices and the integrated power of all offices, services and professional expertise across North America. The agency has 1,000 employees in New York, Vienna, VA, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles, Charlotte, NC, Toronto and Calgary.

"By bringing to bear all aspects of Rapp Collins under a centralized national formation, we offer clients the most appropriate resources and best-qualified people to run their business, regardless of geographic location," said Gary VonKennel, RCW chairman and CEO. In the new structure, Robert Horvath, formerly agency chief financial officer, has been promoted to the new position of president, Direct Marketing, with all agency operations reporting into him.

Edward R. McNally, Jr., formerly RCW president/chief operating officer, assumes a new role as president, Diversified Services, where he is responsible for the integration of and role for all current and future services and partnerships. He will also oversee the agency's newly created Corporate Marketing & Communications department.

Chief Officers Appointed for Planning and Creative

Organizational changes also include formalization of a centralized approach for agency services, with key individuals promoted to the role of chief officers serving across all RCW offices. Cathy Clift, formerly executive vice president, planning in Dallas, assumes the role of RCW chief planning officer. Martin Macdonald, former executive vice president, chief creative officer in Dallas, becomes RCW chief creative officer.

In their newly created roles, Clift and Macdonald are responsible for thought leadership, industry recognition, and development of new tools, products and processes in their respective areas.

Caroline Chilvers, who has served as team leader and senior vice president in New York, has been promoted to executive vice president of the agency's newly formed Corporate Marketing & Communications department. The group is charged with centralizing all business development and internal and external communications processes and activities across all offices.
