A review of permission practices ranging from best to Illegal practices. Staff will learn, via examples, the dos, the don'ts, and the rationale behind these practices. The session will address the three stages of permission practices: collection, data management, and maintenance. The seminar will also review current state and federal laws as well as proposed future legislation.

Permission Compliance and Best Practices (full day seminar)

Includes the Permission Practices and Legal Compliance seminar plus a 1/2 day discussing the keys to successful email marketing. This session delves into email marketing philosophy, differences from direct mail, and winning email strategies with the focus being designing email marketing campaigns which are permission compliant AND produce high return on investment.

Consulting with Innovyx, Inc. CTO Derek Harding. Mr. Harding is one of the leading email technologists in the world and has worked with many companies to improve the efficiency and deliverability of their email campaigns.

Permission Audit (hourly as needed)

A documented review of the marketer's: data collection process, database management practices, and permission maintenance procedures. Each of these areas is evaluated and recommendations provided. In addition, Innovyx searches the various anti-spam blacklists, and discussion groups on behalf of the client.

Marketing Strategy (hourly as needed)

Consulting session with Innovyx, Inc. VP Email Consulting, Ian Oxman. Mr. Oxman chairs various email marketing industry groups, sits on the DMA faculty, and regularly consults with Fortune 500 companies to improve their email marketing success.
